ITREALMS ... making leadership SENSE with digital news!
Prominent Igbo socio-cultural organisation the Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, has elected Senator John Azuta-Mbata as uts 13th President-General, reports ITREALMS.
Information reaching ITREALMS news desk today, Friday, reliably informed that Azuta-Mbata emerged during the election of new executives in the coal city capital, Enugu, Enugu State, as the new leader, succeeding Fidelis Chukwu, whose tenure was interim.
ITREALMS recalled that Chukwu cometed the tenure of late Dr Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu who died last year.
Noteworthy is that Azuta-Mbata hails from Rivers State in South-south Nigeria, marking a significant milestone in the organisation’s history.
The election process was conducted via voice voting, with Azuta-Mbata and 15 other individuals were elected to various executive positions.
Industry watchers see the election of a former Senator, Azuta-Mbata as the coming with a wealth of experience to his new role. He served as a senator for the Rivers East constituency from 1999 to 2007.
