All is now set for the official opening of Mercy Orphanage Home by His Lordship, Most Rev. Dr. Martin Igwe Uzoukwu on Thursday, August 6, 2020, reports ITREALMS.
Disclosing this, the Director of the Home, Rev. Fr. Ignatius Makoji, informed ITREALMS that the ceremony would commence with a holy mass at the premises.
“The ceremony begins with the Holy Mass at 10:00 a m. Venue: plot 178 Mallam Isa Street Oyus, GRA, Suleja,” he said.
Fr Makoji also said that founder of Missionaries of Divine Mercy (MDM), and Catholic Bishop of Minna Diocese, Dr. Uzoukwu would be the chief celebrant at the occasion.
According to him, the choice of the date was very instructive because that is equally the date the Catholic Church celebrates the feast of transfiguration of the Lord.
He, therefore, beckoned on well-wishers, “fathers, brothers and sisters, friends, devotees and donors” for their anticipated presence.
