The family of former governor of Enugu State, Dr.
Chimaroke Nnamani has announced the passing away of their wife and mother, Mrs.
Nnenna Agnes Nnamani on Friday, September 4, 2015, at the age of 47, reports

Confirming this, the family through a press statement
endorsed by a media consultant, Dan Nwomeh, said that “Mr. Chimaroke F.
Nnamani, on behalf of the Nwankwo Anike Nnamani family of Amaiyi Amakpu Agbani,
in Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State, has announced the passing of his mother
and former first lady of Enugu State, Mrs. Nnenna Agnes Nnamani."
Elombah.com reports that Mrs. Nnamani's
premature death occurred in the evening of Friday, 4th September, 2015 in
Orlando, Florida, United States, following complications from sickle cell
disease and cerebral aneurysm.
In response, former Governor
Nnamani thanked all and sundry for their support and prayers, while further
burial arrangements will be announced by the family.
