Omatek Venture plc has adduced some reasons why it recently introduced branded Style Me personal computing (PCs) into the West African markets where it has presence, slashing cost of 8 and 10-inch smartbooks and desktops by 25 per cent.
The Group Managing Director, Omatek plc, Mrs. Florence Seriki gave this insight in Lagos, saying that apart from totally personalizing individual personal computing (PC) to the style of customers, it gives a set of aesthetic to the environment where it has been put to use.
This, she said gives customers a unique identity in the world of Information Technology (IT) among equals.
She also noted that Style Me notebooks are statements of fashion for every mobile person that wants to be distinguished at all times and at every occasion.
Additionally, this is to encourage parents to buy improved notebooks for students instead of toy notebooks which cost is on the high-side.
“Can you image a classroom with Style Me notebooks and desktops with different pictorial designs, it would give an ambience for good education,” she said, stressing that Style Me has been introduced in Ghana and Nigeria and would soon be extended to other sub-regional markets in the Economic Community for West African States (ECOWAS).
She said that with the new Omatek ‘Style Me’ concept the company’s brand of smartbooks and desktops now have a unique outlook and could be identified with the lifestyle of individual customers who have the opportunity to choose different characters ranging from sports, favourte football clubs, love symbols, cartoon characters for children, music icons, personal photographs or whatever gives such an individual pleasure as cover designs on the Omatek 8 and 10- inch smartbooks and desktops casings.
“The design offers customers in every age category a variety of choices,” she declared.
Equally speaking, the head, Marketing, Omatek Ventures plc, Mr. Kayode Yeku, said the concept of Style Me cover design from Omatek was borne out of the firm’s desire to continuously innovate and to satisfy the yearnings and expectations of its customers.
“Omatek will be offering the new cover designs as complimentary bonus for every 8 and 10-inch notebooks and desktop computers sold during Easter sales promo,” he said.
This promo, he explained, has been designed to reward loyal customers through a 25 per cent reduction on its 8 and 10-inch smartbooks as well as desktop computers.
