Onyekwere explains launch of Blast Broadband

The chairman of Linkserve Limited has explained the reasons for the introduction of Blast Broadband by his firm into the nation’s Information and Communications Technology (ICT) market.

Speaking in Lagos, Onyekwere said that the new product which has higher availability guarantees customers a performance of 99.99 per cent exceeding present customer expectations.

This solution, he said, was designed for corporate, home users and educational institutions with multiple deployments.

“We have already secured a huge deployment of over 250 units for the pre-launch sales project,” he said, stressing that as of today, video has become a reality for it to be received through the internet.

According to him, the streaming capacity would enable churches, distance learning, educational and institutional organization and religious to reach multiple sites at a very affordable cost, thereby effectively reducing traveling cost.

He also said that the solution provides a platform for many other exciting features and services for the customers including Voice over IP (VoIP), Direct To Home (DTH), advanced Quality of Service (QoS), Multicasting and accelerated IP cum web-centric applications.

Excited Onyekwere noted that the introduction of the new product, Blast Broadband, was the first of its kind on the continent.

“It is based on the latest technology available in internet connectivity and because it is the latest technology, it exceeds by far what currently exists in the market.
