Chams launches four products @ CardExpo-08

Proudly indigenous Information Technology (IT) company, Chams Nigeria Plc. Has concluded plans to unveil its new product line, an electronic payment product at the 2008 edition of CardExpo Africa scheduled to hold at the Civic Centre, Lagos.

Company sources informed that the unveiling has been scheduled to hold at the event venue and would include the firm’s largest card printer in the world Datacard MX6000 system, the A4 Kingteller Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) and the new ChamsAccess Service (CAS) Terminals.

Head, Terminals & Printers Unit of Chams Plc, Mr. Tunji Adekoya, said that as a global brand, Chams seeks to leverage on the gathering of major player in the card technology industry across Africa with the array of products on display and technical expertise at hand.

He also said that all these solutions slated for introduction by Chams would change the face of e-payment in the country.

In a related development, the Marketing Manager, Chams, Mr. Ayo Lawani, explained that the official introduction of the Kingteller ATM and the new CAS Terminals is slated to round off the exhibition. According to him, experts from Guangzhou Kingteller, China would be available at the event to support the team of specialists for the ATM and Kings Product Canada for CAS Terminals throughout the duration of the expo.

Leading the team of technical experts and e-business solution providers from Datacard Group to CardExpo 2002, he added, would be the Regional Head, Africa & Middle East, r. Ian Brown.

Equally, in conjunction with Chams Plc. the visiting technical experts will enlighten corporate clients on new range of products on display while also providing solutions to technical challenges as may have been faced in the deployment of e-payment infrastructures on a day to day basis.

While encouraging corporate organizations and the general public to visit the Chams booth at the CardExpo, the company renowned for being ahead of its peers in deploying innovative technologies promises to exceed the expectations of all this time.

The expo affords all and sundry the opportunity to get first hand information on cutting edge technologies. Little wonder Chams bye line is “innovation in the future tense.”
