HP introduces dazzling PC designs

Leading technology distributor, Hewlett Packard (HP), has introduced new business product line up into the global market.

This, the company said would endure elegant designs for everyone from consumers to Information Technology (IT) to professionals.

Marketing Manager at HP Nigeria, Ms. Ijeoma Onyiuke, informed that the new product line-up features eye-catching designs and sheer performance across business desktops, notebooks, workstations and displays.

She added that the sleek new business computers have features facilitating optimal performances in virtually any business environment.

The products introduced globally at the just concluded New York’s Fashion Week, she noted, has HP Compaq dc7800 as one of the star business desktops at the show.

According to her, HP’s most secure and manageable business desktop series features a sleek, zero-footprint design, when combined with the innovative Integrated Work Centre flat panel monitor stand that conceals the PC behind the monitor.

The system, which is environmentally responsible design, she also said, offers remote power management for advanced energy-efficient business computing.

The senior vice president and general manager, PSG Notebook global business unit at HP, Mr. Ted Clark, was quoted as saying that the computer is personal for business customers too.

“For them, design is more than just a look; it’s a total customer experience,” he declared.

Clark further said that HP has expanded its business notebook portfolio with the HP Compaq 6520s, HP Compaq 6720s, and HP Compaq 6820s, stressing that the three systems offer balanced mobility and value whereas featuring a fresh new look, with wide screen displays, the latest processors and multiple wireless technologies, even as a major hit was the revamped tablet computer, 2710p at the show.

The general manager pointed out that HP has explored larger sized displays, many in wide screen format and that with the latest Liquid Crystal Displays (LCDs) avails consumers substantial increases in brightness, contrast ratio, viewing angle and response time when compared with previous generation monitors.

“Business customers can also now enjoy the same industry-leading image quality and world-class support of HP business monitors with the new line of HP LT Series 32- and 37-inch 720p and 42- and 47-inch 1080p Professional LCD High Definition Televisions (HDTVs), which offer exceptional image accuracy, clear pictures and rich connectivity for professional environments,” Clark said.

Among other changes on HP product line category comprised of the gaming PCs, an unprecedented expansion of the HP iPAQ handheld lineup and joint programmes with media partners MTV and Condé Nast.
