Estimated 750 corporate exhibitors are expected to grace the 3GSM World Congress slated for next month in Barcelona.

Congress is the world’s premier international mobile event, predicted to attract more than 40,000 telecom executives, including more than 6,000 chief executive officers and more than 1,200 press and media representatives who cover the event for worldwide audience.

Just five weeks to the gathering billed to hold between February 13 and 16, the organizers said as a past GSM World Series regional they look forward toward ensuring interested delegates would learn from another world-class line-up of keynote speakers who would take to the stage at the even.

Directly allied to this event is the new Mobile Innovation award, a unique and prestigious addition to the GSM Association’s Awards categories.

On the Mobile Entertainment Summit (MES), organizers noted that the global forum for entertainment and content brands would come together with the mobile industry as the two worlds converge at breakneck speed.

Featuring some of the world’s most recognisable brands and addressing the key issues, an unprecedented line up of experts speakers include, Thomas Hesse, SonyBMG, Gary Carter, FreemantleMedia , Daniel Kranzler, INFORMA Peter Bazalgette, Endemol , Lucy Hood, Fox Mobile Entertainment, Attila Gazdag, Walt Disney, Frank Sagnier, Electronic Arts Eric Mika, Variety.

This year’s congress the organisers promise would be the biggest and best ever, bringing together industry leaders and visionaries from around the world and across the mobile value chain to explore the top strategic, commercial and technology challenges ahead of the global industry.

From mobile entertainment and the progress of next generation wireless services, to the challenges of providing first time communications to connect the unconnected people of the world, this is the event where the entire mobile industry converges to debate and discuss the issues, to network and most importantly to do business.

With a far broader global attendance, than at the regional events you may have attended, the world congress offers you even more business opportunities.
