The Human and Environmental Development Agenda (HEDA Resource Centre) has kicked against the purported reinstatement of staff from the Lagos State Building Control Agency (LASBCA) who were previously dismissed following the tragic incident of a collapsed 6-storey building within Lekki Gardens Estate at Ikate Elegushi, Lekki in March 2016, reports ITREALMS.
The accountability group in a press statement available to ITREALMS, therefore urged Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to promptly investigate this reinstatement for necessary action.
The Heads of State and Government of ECOWAS has demanded for the immediate release and reinstatement of President Mohamed Bazoum as the legitimate Head of State and Government of the Republic of Niger, reports ITREALMS.
In a communique at the end of the Extraordinary Summit on Socio-Political Situation in the Republic of Niger read by the President, ECOWAS Commission, Dr Omar Touray, the leaders also rejected any form of purported resignation by President Bazoum and declared him as the only recognised and elected President by ECOWAS, the African Union and the international community.
