To boost the grassroots education and youth empowerment in North-West Nigeria, the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has conducted an interactive tour of the newly completed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Academy in the Hadejia Local Government Area of Jigawa State, reports ITREALMS.
The tour followed the official high-profile commissioning ceremony of the academic institution, which is built to strengthen digital and technological capital, human development, and modern learning infrastructures within the region.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has denied that the immediate past first lady of Anambra State, Mrs. Ebelechukwu Obiano, has not been arrested by them, reports ITREALMS.
The EFCC spokesman Wilson Uwujaren, debunked a media report about the arrest.
The food and nutrition stakeholders in the Lagos State has formally presented a copy of the State’s Policy on Food and Nutrition as well as the Multi-sectoral plan of Action on Nutrition to the first lady, Dr. Mrs Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, reports ITREALMS.
They also called for the approval of the policy by the Lagos State Executive Council (SEC).
The President Muhammadu Buhari has approved a review of the appointment of Dr. Hajo Sani, who was earlier appointed as Senior Special Assistant to the President on Administration (Office of the First Lady), for a second term, reports ITREALMS.
Suleiman Haruna of the office of First Lady, confirmed this in a press statement, saying that as indicated in a letter signed by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr. Boss Mustafa, Dr. Hajo Sani’s new appointment is Senior Special Assistant to the President on Women Affairs and Administration (Office of the First Lady).
