The UBA Foundation, corporate social responsibility arm of the United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc, has announced that winners of the 2025 edition of its annual National Essay Competition (NEC) will receive educational grants worth over ₦22.5 million to study at any African university of their choice, reports ITREALMS.
According to the Foundation, this year’s first-prize winner will receive a ₦10 million university grant, representing a 33% increase from the ₦7.5 million awarded in 2024. The second and third-place winners will receive ₦7.5 million and ₦5 million respectively, also reflecting increases from the previous ₦5 million and ₦3.5 million.
