An information technology (IT) expert and religious leader, Rev. Canon Sunday Folayan, has called on the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) to immediately investigate the use of its machine at Republic of Niger for the National Identification Number (NIN), reports ITREALMS.

NIN, ITREALMS gathered is for all citizens and legal residents in Nigeria, from age zero, that is, at birth and above are eligible to enroll.

The Defence Headquarters (DHQ) has said its troops have arrested fake officials of National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) registering non-Nigerians in Niger Republic, reports ITREALMS.

Nigeria is bordered to the north by Niger, to the east by Chad and Cameroon, to the south by the Gulf of Guinea of the Atlantic Ocean, and to the west by Benin.
