The former Federal Permanent Secretary and pioneer administrator of Nigeria’s .ng domain, Dr. Mrs. Ibukun Odusote, has warned that Nigeria risks becoming a “digital colony” if stakeholders fail to align and synergise in building a unified Information Technology (IT) ecosystem, reports ITREALMS.
Speaking at the maiden Principal IT Stakeholder Engagement Forum, organised by the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) in collaboration with the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) Abuja Chapter, Odusote lamented the persistent duplication of initiatives and fragmented efforts in Nigeria’s digital sector.
