The African Development Bank Group has signed a $400,000 grant agreement with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Nigeria to strengthen securities market regulation and broaden market instruments, reports ITREALMS.

The funds will go towards strengthening the risk-based supervision framework, regulation of derivatives and green bonds, and build capacity for green finance. The grant will be sourced from the Capital Markets Development Trust Fund, a multi-donor fund administered by the Bank.

Ajayi in his condolence message described Mr. Sadiq Daba's demise as a great loss.

The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, has mourned the demise of Mr. Sadiq Daba, describing him as an iconic thespian/broadcaster and a giant of his time.

In a statement issued in Abuja on Thursday, the Minister said the death of Mr. Daba was a huge loss to the entertainment industry and the nation in general.

NARRATION: A friend of mine once told me how he went to the park to travel, entered a particular vehicle, but an incident occurred that caused quarrel between him and another passenger. He was forced down from that vehicle and he had no choice but to board another one that was going much later.
