The African tech community is counting down to the fifth edition of the Africa Tech Alliance Forum (AfriTECH 5.0), where the urgent conversation on achieving true digital autonomy will take centre stage, reports ITREALMS.
Scheduled for Thursday, November 13, 2025, at the Oriental Hotel, Lekki Road, Lagos, the conference promises to be a pivotal gathering for policymakers and innovators.
Commencing at 9:00 AM (WAT), AfriTECH 5.0 will bring together Africa’s foremost technology leaders, regulators, investors, and innovators to dissect the crucial theme: “AI and Sovereign Tech: Building Africa’s Digital Independence.”
As the continent intensifies its digital transformation agenda, AfriTECH 5.0 is specifically designed to explore how Artificial Intelligence (AI), indigenous innovation, and homegrown technologies can accelerate Africa’s quest for digital security, sovereignty, and sustainable economic growth.
The 2025 edition features an influential lineup of prominent industry leaders and policymakers, underscoring the forum's significance.
