Telecommunications Academy accredits GSMA courses

The Capacity Building initiative of the Global System for Mobile Association (GSMA) has got its courses accredited by the United Kingdom (UK)-based Telecommunications Academy, reports ITRealms.

GSMA founded in 1995, ITRealms gathered is a trade body that represents the interests of mobile operators worldwide with approximately 800 mobile operators membership and a further 300 companies in the broader mobile ecosystem are associate members. 

The body in its latest newsletter, disclosed to ITRealms that all 12 courses in conducted in 2016-17 portfolio, have now been accredited by the United Kingdom Telecommunications Academy (UKTA).

For over two decades, ITRealms reports that UKTA has been an internationally recognised centre of excellence in the provision of academic, technical and vocational education.


With this development, ITRealms reports that certificates awarded to participants who complete accredited GSMA courses will now carry the UKTA endorsement.
