2015 GiTEX showcase holds huge promise for Nigeria - Jide Awe

The newly elected chairman of Events and Conferences at the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS), Mr. Jide Awe has described the GITEX Technology conference as an event with huge promise, reports ITRealms.

Mr. Awe disclosed this in note in support of the NCS call for members to join the GITEX 2015 train to Dubai in October, this year.

“The promise of GITEX is huge. Showcase, network, seize the International market advantage. To leverage on the NCS national platform is to shape the future,” he asserted.

For him, NCS is committed to building a digital, prosperous and inclusive Nigerian nation, hence partnership of its membership remain the backbone of the society towards achieving this goal.
ITRealms recalls that the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) is the umbrella organization of all Information Technology Professionals, Interest Groups and Stakeholders in Nigeria.
Established in 1978 as Computer Association of Nigeria (COAN); and later transformed into NCS in 2002 as a result of harmonization with other stakeholder and interest groups, NCS is the national platform for the advancement of information technology science and practice in Nigeria.
On the other hand, 2015 GITEX is expected to centre on the Internet Future of Everything which coincides with the celebration of innovation at 35th anniversary edition.
“At the core of this 35th anniversary edition will be innovation and the rapidly evolving Internet of Everything,” GITEX officials declared.
ITRealms gathered that there would be an estimated over 80 industry leaders and influencers including Prime Minister of Estonia, Chief Digital Officer of SAP, and Chief Information Officer (CIO) of City Of Philadelphia to name a few.
