The Managing Director, Jumia Nigeria, the online e-commerce company,  Nicolas Martin has described the Nigeria mobile internet education as upbeat saying it is as high as 65 per cent, reports ITRealms.

He stated that Nigeria has much more to offer than people outside the country think adding that with high level technology awareness one does not need to be extraordinarily creative to explore and exploit the world of opportunities that abound in the country.

Martin was speaking on the second day of the 2015 Tech+ Conference and Exhibition which has the theme “Leadership in Digital Technology at Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos. He said even though  e-commerce is not as developed as it is in United States of America and other developed world, it has a fair share of the Nigerian market.

The Chief Executive Officer, also told ITRealmsthat what people outside know about Nigeria is Boko Haram and Ebola  which he said is largely untrue and emphasized that what Nigeria requires  is good Public Relation.

According to the Managing Director, Connect Marketing, Tunji Adeyinka, Tech+ Conference and Exhibition is a place where new technology comes to life and new products are unveiled. It is for knowledge sharing and networking for manufacturers, software, hardware companies and even consumers.

This year’s Tech+ Conference and Exhibition, ITRealms also reports, was powered by MTN Nigeria, a company that has continued to show its footprint as a leader in digital technology. It provided key support for this year’s event as a fulfillment of the company’s vision in the emerging digital space.
