Non-Commercial group gears-up for Durban'13

The Non-Commercial Stakeholders Group (NCSG) has advanced plans for its meeting scheduled for forthcoming Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) public session in Durban, South Africa, between July 14-19, 2013.

Chairperson of the group, Robin Gross confirmed that they have planned to meet in Durban alongside remote participants and those attending physically, adding that NCSG meeting holds on Tuesday, July 16 this year.

A draft programme sighted by ITRealms provisions have been made for members who would like to dial-in to the meeting and remote participation via Adobe Connect online software.

According to the draft agenda, some of the key issues for NCSG in Durban comprised of examining the protection of multi-stakeholder model for Internet governance; Beijing Communiqué of the Governmental Advisory Committee (GAC);


Also on the agenda as disclosed by Robin Gross, are the “Accountability Transparency Review Team, WHOIS - Privacy Issues and others such as Intergovernmental Organizations (IGOs) and International Non-Governmental Organizations (INGOs); Policy v. Implementation.”
