$1 Trillion Digital Opportunity: AfriTECH 6.0 returns to Lagos, November 13 - ITREALMS

The Africa Tech Alliance Forum, a foremost platform convening policymakers, investors, tech founders, and enterprise executives, has announced its sixth annual edition, AfriTECH 6.0, scheduled for Thursday, November 13, 2026, at the Oriental Hotel, Lekki, Lagos, reports ITREALMS.

The high-level gathering will feature the presentation of the Africa Tech Alliance Excellence Awards (ATAEx Awards 2026), recognizing exceptional leadership, innovation, and infrastructure contributions across Africa’s technology, fintech, telecom, and broader digital economy sectors.

Held under the theme “The Next $1 Trillion Opportunity: Building Africa Through Technology,” AfriTECH 6.0 addresses a critical juncture in the continent's growth trajectory: what concrete frameworks, policy alignments, and technical infrastructures are required to convert Africa’s digital potential into a $1 trillion economic reality.

Despite attracting tens of billions of dollars in venture capital and giving rise to global fintech benchmarks over the last decade, the continent’s digital ecosystem continues to contend with regulatory fragmentation, capital access constraints, and persistent bandwidth and power infrastructure deficits.

AfriTECH 6.0 is engineered to bridge these gaps through high-signal, direct strategic dialogues among key ecosystem architects.

Co-Convener of the Africa Tech Alliance Forum, Mr. Chike Onwuegbuchi, noted that for five years, AfriTECH has been the room where the real conversations happen.

He emphasized that with this sixth edition, the organization is raising its ambition, asserting that the trillion-dollar question is an operational challenge every leader in that room is expected to answer with precision, honesty, and actionable direction.

Unlike broad-admission tech festivals, AfriTECH has established itself as a focused, high-level summit.

The 2026 edition will bring together C-Suite executives across banking, fintech, telecommunications, and cloud infrastructure, as well as policymakers and regulators shaping cross-border data governance, trade, and digital payment frameworks.

The forum will also assemble venture capital and private equity investors alongside founders and scale-up operators executing across logistics, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and digital health.

Running parallel to the forum, the Africa Tech Alliance Excellence Awards (ATAEx) returns for its sixth cycle.

Recognized for its peer-evaluated, editorially rigorous methodology, ATAEx honours companies, public institutions, and visionary leaders whose technical and policy contributions have measurably advanced Africa's digital readiness.

AfriTECH 6.0 is co-convened by the Africa Tech Alliance Forum and the TechCastle Foundation, with media platform support from Techeconomy.

Delegates, corporate sponsors, and prospective partners looking to participate in AfriTECH 6.0 or submit nominations for ATAEx 2026 are invited to contact the organizing committee directly.

  1. I am incredibly grateful to Priest Alaska for the guidance and encouragement he provided on my journey to winning the lottery. After learning about his work, I reached out to him, shared my hope of hitting the Mega Millions jackpot, and decided to give it a try. He gave me a combination of numbers and encouraged me to remain positive and hopeful. I bought my lottery ticket with those numbers and was absolutely overwhelmed when they actually matched the winning numbers. I won the Mega Millions jackpot of $50 million! It was an unforgettable, life-changing moment. I will always appreciate Priest Alaska's support. He can help you, too: send him an email at alaskaspellcaster44@gmail.com or contact him via WhatsApp at +233 59 274 5728.
