Gov. Soludo reappoints Agbata to lead ASICTA, names new heads for ARTMA, ACTDA - ITREALMS

The Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, has approved the appointments of three key Managing Directors to lead critical state government agencies, reports ITREALMS.

The appointments include a notable tenure renewal for the tech sector leader, while introducing fresh leadership to the transport and capital territory portfolios.

The Governor has reappointed renowned tech innovator and expert, Mr. Chukwuemeka Fred Agbata (CFA), as the Managing Director of the Anambra State Information and Communication Technology Agency (ASICTA).

This reappointment is seen as a strategic move to continue the digitalization of Anambra State's public services and boost the emerging tech ecosystem in the state.

Additionally, Governor Soludo has approved the appointments of the following persons as Managing Directors of other government agencies, including the Anambra Road Traffic Management Agency (ARTMA): Mr. Emeka Okonkwo (Konti) has been appointed as the new Managing Director; Awka Capital Territory Development Authority (ACTDA): Mr. Osita Onuko has been named the Managing Director of the authority.

Governor Soludo expects the new leadership team to bring renewed vigor and unwavering commitment to their various agencies to drive the development and transformation agenda of Anambra State.

The appointments take effect immediately.
