The roll call includes Hilary Damissah, a seasoned and versatile media and communication professional and Dr Muhammad Sirajo Aliyu, President of the Nigeria Computer Society among others.

According to the Awards jury, the enviable honour is bestowed on Hilary for his sterling contributions to the field of Media and Information Management in Nigeria.

At the ceremony, held on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at the prestigious Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (NIIA), Victoria Island, Lagos, the occasion drew a distinguished audience from across the country’s public and private sectors during which a few Nigerians were honoured.

In his remarks, Chairman of the Awards Committee and Publisher PSR Magazine, Chief Victor Omuabor noted that this year's silver jubilee honorees are most remarkable given the milestone of the Awards over the past 25 years of celebrating the Nigerian Achievements Awrds (NAA).

"As the organisers, we've meticulously selected a few of you the awardees after so much rigorous process and months of scrutiny, we're proud to confer on you this honours as we hope this will further inspire you in your respective fields of endeavour to better the course of humanity and the greater good of the society in general" he charged the recipients.

He also admonished the awardees to be good ambassadors of PSR Nigerian Achievements Awards while challenging them to continue to live up to the high expectations that come with the recognition.

For his distinguished multimedia career spanning over 25 years,
Damissah received the award in recognition of his longstanding contributions to national development, especially in media practice, information management, strategic communication, and public affairs where he has built an impressive record cutting across print, broadcast, and digital media.

PSR in its justification and citation on Hilary Damissah, remarked that his professional foundation is anchored on strong academic credentials, including a BA (Hons) in English Language and a Master’s in Public Administration (MPA) from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.
