QSI ’95 Class to hold landmark 30th anniversary reunion, pledges major giveback to alma mater - ITREALMS

The 1990-1995 old students of Queen's School Ibadan (QSI), Apata, are set to gather for their maiden reunion and a major give-back initiative at the school premises this weekend, commencing on Friday, November 28, reports ITREALMS.

Barrister Toyin Sonoiki-Adedokun, Chairman of the 30th Anniversary Committee, disclosed the details of the two-day event yesterday, emphasizing that the reunion is designed to honour the alma mater that shaped them into adulthood. 

“This promises to be a landmark occasion, bringing together Queens from different parts of the world to reconnect, reminisce, and contribute substantially to the development of our beloved school 30 years after graduation,” Barrister Sonoiki-Adedokun stated.

The celebratory programme is scheduled from Friday, November 28, to Saturday, November 29. Proceedings will kick off on Friday with a familiarization tour of the school premises at 11:00 AM, followed immediately by the presentation of the 1990-1995 set’s development projects to the school authorities at the Assembly Ground by 12:00 PM.

On Saturday, November 29, the first Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held at 10:00 AM, featuring a hybrid format to seamlessly accommodate members joining from the Diaspora. 

This, she said, will be followed by a luncheon tagged "Elegance and Glamorous" at 2:00 PM, providing an opportunity for alumni to unwind and network.

Barrister 'Toyin expressed optimism about the turnout and thanked the ’95 set Excos for their unwavering support in assisting the planning committee. 

She urged all Queens from the 1990-1995 set globally to mark their calendars for the event, noting that it represents a significant step towards actively reuniting and reconnecting with fellow alumni while giving back to QSI.
