Shell has highlighted its pivotal role in Nigeria's oil and gas industry at the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) conference in Lagos, with the exhibition featuring Shell's flagship businesses, including Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company (SNEPCo) and Shell Nigeria Gas (SNG), as well as its partnerships with All On and Daystar Power, reports ITREALMS.

Shell's participation in the conference comes as it received an award for its $5 billion Bonga North project, which is expected to produce 110,000 barrels of oil per day.
The project, ITREALMS gathered, has an estimated 300 million barrels of oil equivalent and will contribute significantly to Nigeria's economy through taxes, royalties, and local business support.
Shell's Executive Vice President and Country Chair, Marno de Jong, emphasized the company's commitment to partnering with stakeholders for Nigeria's development.
With over 60 years of operation in Nigeria, Shell has implemented wide-ranging social investments that have improved lives across the country.
The SPE conference provides a platform for industry leaders to share knowledge, innovation, and best practices in the energy sector, demonstrating Shell's commitment to Nigeria's energy future.
