The former Nigerian Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Ambassador Sarafa Tunji Isola, has graciously accepted the role of chairman at the 7th anniversary lecture of Penpushing Media, scheduled for July 31, 2025, reports ITREALMS.
According to Dr. Abiola Akiyode-Afolabi, Chairperson of the anniversary, and Sina Adefolahan, Secretary, Ambassador Isola has confirmed his attendance at the ceremony.
He expressed his pride in being associated with Penpushing Media and honored to chair the event.
"I am proud to be associated with the Penpushing team. I am proud and honored to chair the event. I am also confirming that I will physically be in attendance to grace the occasion. I am also convinced about the journalistic role of Penpushing Media, which today has made it a household name globally in the media industry."
Ambassador Sarafa Tunji Isola is a renowned administrator and leader with extensive experience in both the public and private sectors.
He was appointed Nigerian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom by former President Muhammadu Buhari in January 2021. With a distinguished career spanning several decades, Ambassador Isola has held various notable positions, including Minister of Mines and Steel Development from 2007 to 2008 and Secretary to the State Government of Ogun State from 2003 to 2007.
He also served as Special Assistant to the Minister of Finance in 1999.
In recognition of his outstanding contributions, Ambassador Isola has received the national award of Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic (OFR).
He holds a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) and has attended the prestigious Harvard Kennedy School of Government in the United States.
