AASDU President, Ebeledike visits Legacy University Okija - ITREALMS

The President of the Association of Anambra State Development Unions, (AASDU) Lagos Branch; Chief Sir Amaechi Charles Ebeledike also known as Ikedinigwe Anaocha, recently paid an unscheduled visit to Legacy University Okija, reports ITREALMS.

The Pro-Chancellor of the University, Chief Dr. Leonard Nkameme in his welcome speech thanked Chief Ebeledike who was accompany by his brother, for making out time to visit the University. 

He also presented to the visitors, the University's academic and infrastructural developmental strides. 

Further, he elaborated the uniqueness of the University which includes a conducive environment for teaching and learning, affordable school fees at all levels and improved security within Okija and Anambra in general. 

In addition, the Pro-Chancellor pleaded with the visitor to work towards publicizing Legacy University Okija to Igbo communities in Lagos and beyond with the view to bringing "our young brothers and sisters home for their University education at Legacy University Okija."

The benefits include; learning Igbo culture and traditions as well as being fluent in their mother tongue. The visit presented an opportunity for Chief Ebeledike to assess the readiness of the University in providing quality and efficient services to her stakeholders. 

In his remarks, Chief Ebeledike praised the University management for the great success recorded within six years of coming into existence. 

He promised to work with the University management to achieve more success in future. He also affirmed his readiness to assist in making Legacy University Okija the first choice of University in the minds of our Igbo brothers and sisters in Lagos and beyond.
