Gemsbok boss endorses Peter Obi presidency, outlines 10-point strategies to woo north – ITREALMS

ITREALMS ... making leadership SENSE with digital news!

Awuzie who also is a member of Forbes Business Council Member and leader of #Transhumanism in Africa, outlined a 10-point strategies on how to sell Peter Obi to Nigerians, especially the north.
He observed at the weekend on his Facebook post that “No South Easterner can win a presidential election in Nigeria without the support of northern Nigeria. This is not a curse, it is a statistical fact.”

Based on the above, Awuzie said the major task of supporters of the Peter Obi Presidential Campaign should be to market him to Nigerians, especially in the North.

To achieve this, Awuzie said he came up with some 10 strategic ideas because Peter Obi is a builder.

These, he said, include that Peter Obi campaign team should translate all Peter Obi's speeches to Hausa and Fulfulde as soon as possible; buy radio airtime in major stations in the north where Peter's translated speeches and interviews will be played on a weekly basis.

He pointed out that the BBC Hausa is vital to this cause and getting in touch with them would be very useful .

“Grant regular interviews with bbc Hausa and other Hausa and Fulfulde platforms,” he declared.

In addition, Awuzie said that creating physical presence through liaison offices in key northern cities will add value to the presidential campaign.

“These offices should be functional and effectively engaging grassroot formations to propagate the message of a new Nigeria,” he advised.

The cyber security expert turned political pundit stressed that “a powerful Northern Nigerian deputy from Kano, Kaduna or Kastina - the super 3 Ks” would be handy to achieving the dream.

This, he said, could be followed by creating a shadow cabinet with shadow ministers.

He explained that “A shadow cabinet doesn't have executive power since they are only executive members of government in waiting; Distribute key Shadow Ministries to the 3 Ks to create a deep effect in the political conversation in the north.

Also, he said, the Shadow Ministers will operate just like normal Ministers, they should be given official cars and their job will include to criticize the original Ministers in the current administration - offering a better alternative to the unsolved problems of the current cabinet.

“Shadow cabinets are powerful opposition tools. This alone could place Labour Party as the main opposition party displacing PDP which is almost on its way to the grave,” he said.

Awuzie described the North as Nigeria's most politically conscious region, which do not vote money, but interest to protect northern interest in Nigeria while ensuring a balance in the south.

Supporters of Peter Obi, he said, must avoid getting into social media wars with northern Nigerians.

“Stop the subs... they are your partners in constructing the new Nigeria. I've always maintained that the north is not in enmity with the south,” he asserted, blaming some evil politicians for creating a fake division.

“Peter Obi must expose that division and seek to be a unifier. Supporters of Peter Obi must have at least 10 influential Northerners who are partners in the Rescue Nigeria project,” he advised.

Further, Awuzie said Peter Obi supporters must avoid religious misunderstandings by respecting each other's religious opinions as well as protect northern businesses in the south and vice versa.

“If Peter Obi is successfully sold to the north, you will see a political miracle in 2023,” he declared.

Awuzie finally urged Nigerians to forget those who believed that nothing can happen beyond the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and All Progressive Congress (APC), recalling that when he was building the Gemsbok Group brand, such people also told him that an African cannot build technologies and export it to America etc.

“They laughed at me until I did it,” he affirmed.
