ITREALMS ... making leadership SENSE with digital news!

The Publisher of Ovation International magazine, Chief Dele Momodu, has reacted to the video of a young Igbo boy,
Ikechukwu Divine Oramife, who created a car with locally sourced materials, advising the Nigeria government to turn Igboland into her version of Silicon Valley, reports ITREALMS.

BBC Pidgin, ITREALMS recalled had earlier showcased a documentary of 15-year-old Ikechukwu Divine Oramife, who made use of aluminum, dunlop, super glue, copper wire, and other locally sourced materials to create a functioning car.
According to the young inventor, his newly executed project "Lambo 2021", took him just a month and two weeks to get it ready, while the excavator took him a month and two days.

In his reaction, Dele Momodu reminded Nigerians of the enormous potentials in the Southeast as far as technology ingenuity is concerned.

"Nigeria should turn Igboland into her silicon valley," he was quoted as saying.

ITREALMS recollects that Silicon Valley is located in the San Francisco Bay Area of California and is home to many start-ups and global technology companies, such as Apple, Facebook, and Google to name but a few.

Momodu said that if he is allowed to lead Nigeria as President, he would budget heavily on technology to harness the potentials of many creative Nigerian citizens.

Stressing that if this is done, in no distant time, "Nigeria will be at par or ahead of China, South Korea, Japan, Germany, and other technological giants."
