Visafone kicks off bonanza

Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) operator in the country, Visafone Limited, has introduced an unprecedented bonanza sale of Nokia branded handsets in its stock.

The sales bonanza, according to a press statement endorsed by Head, Corporate Communication at Visafone, Mr. Toni Kan said Visafone has slashed off over 50 per cent of the recommended retail prices.

This, he said, would see Nigerians walking away with high quality Nokia branded handsets for as little as N3,499.

The deal, he said, is to put quality and affordable handsets in the hands of Nigerians to enable them fully experience the joy of communication as promised by the telco.

He recalled that Visafone’s fantastic offer, which ran through the Easter period received overwhelming patronage from Nigerians who thronged Visafone shops and dealer outlets to snap up handsets, ranging from N1,600 to N1,900 for those with Frequency Modulated (FM) radio facility.

Meanwhile, Visafone is offering two weeks free Internet access to all its data subscribers who signed on within the company’s first month of operations in appreciation for being an early birds.

Subscribers have commented positively on Visafone’s fast paced Internet connection riding on the 3G RevA platform.

Visafone, a wholly owned Nigerian mobile company which commenced full commercial operations in February 2008 in 12 states and over 40 cities now has coverage in 13 states and over 100 towns and cities across Nigeria in furtherance of its promise to grant Nigerians a passport to reach the world.
