Nokia unveils Xpress music phones

COMMUNICATIONS giant, Nokia Nigeria, has launched the Nokia 5310 and 5610 optimized music and entertainment cell phones into the market, reports CHARLES OKOH.

The Nokia 5310 and 5610 Xpress music phones both offer up to 18 and 22 hours of music playback, and have a memory for up 3000 songs on an optimal 4 Gegabytes (GB) MiscroSD cards respectively.

General Manager, Nokia Nigeria, Mr. Fady Khatibi said the 5310 and 5610 phones both have 2 and 3.2 megapixel cameras and a capacity of up to 16 million colours which makes downloads, web-browsing and video calls faster and easier and are both available at Nokia authorised retail outlets across the country.

According to Mr. Khatibi, “the strikingly slim Nokia 5310 and 5610 is 9.9mm thick and weighs less than 71 grams with iconic designs, offer a range of entertainment-enabled features for consumers who want their music and favourite media with them wherever they go.”

Nokia, he said, is the world leader in mobility, driving the transformation and growth of the converging internet and communications industries, while also producing a wide range of mobile devices with services and software that enable people to experience music, navigation, video, television, imaging, games and business mobility.
