L2L reopens Adobe presence in Nigeria

Most diversified software company, Adobe Systems Incorporated may have found its way back into the country by reopening its regional distributing centre in Nigeria through the recent engagement of Licence-to-Learn (L2L) WECA Limited.

Speaking at the formal launch on Monday in Lagos, the West, East and Central African (WECA) Sales Manager at Licence-to-Learn, Mr. Martin Edenweze affirmed that the occasion heralded the reopening of Adobe presence in the region.

According to him, Licence to Learn was born out of the need for a better and more cost effective method of purchasing Adobe products through a specialist technology distributor.

He recalled that in August 2006 Adobe granted Licence-to-Learn the sole rights to market both the Contractual Licensing Programme (CLP) scheme and the Adobe Student shrink-wrap Product options.

Mr. Edenweze also said that L2L offers the CLP and Transactional Licensing Programme (TLP) to the commercial, government and educational market segments.

The launch, he noted was aimed at repositioning Adobe’s wide range of products in Nigeria as well as reintroducing the authorized reseller channel for the acquisition of original Adobe software.

“Since our inception we have made tremendous progress in setting up the right apparatus to ensure smooth effective, and timely distribution and availability of Adobe Products in this Region,” he said.

Mr. Edenweze further pointed out that L2L is currently setting up a local office in Lagos to ensure direct access to all of Adobe product offerings within the commercial nerve centre.

He said that founded in 1982, Adobe revolutionizes how the world engages with ideas and information.

“For 25 years, the company’s award-winning software and technologies have redefined business, entertainment, and personal communications by setting new standards for producing and delivering content that engages people virtually anywhere at anytime,” he declared.

Adding that from rich images in print, video, and film to dynamic digital content for a variety of media, the impact of Adobe solutions is evident across industries and felt by anyone who creates, views, and interacts with information.
