The Nigerian Navy has released the list of successful candidates for the Basic Training School (NNBTS) Batch 38 recruitment exercise, urging the general public to check on its official recruitment portal at https://www.joinnigeriannavy.navy.mil.ng, reports ITREALMS.
According to the notice issued in March 2026, all successful candidates are required to report for training at the Nigerian Navy Basic Training School, Onne, Rivers State, on Saturday, April 11, 2026.
The Navy emphasized that candidates who fail to report on or before April 14, 2026, will be automatically disqualified and their placement withdrawn without further notice.
Candidates are expected to download the parent/guardian consent form from the Nigerian Navy website, which must be duly signed by their parents or guardians and stamped and endorsed by a court of law.
The endorsed form is to be presented upon resumption at the training school, as failure to provide it will lead to automatic disqualification.
Furthermore, candidates are required to report with essential documents including a photocopy of their application form, NIN print-out slip, original and photocopies of credentials, WAEC and NECO scratch cards, BVN print-out, and two passport photographs.
They are also expected to come along with necessary clothing and kits such as navy blue physical training shorts, white round-neck vests, white and brown canvas shoes, white long-sleeve shirts, black trousers, black ties, black shoes, white long socks, and national dress or native wear.
In addition, candidates are to bring personal and bedding items including cutleries, navy blue and white bed sheets, blankets, mosquito nets, and toiletries.
Female candidates are specifically required to come with gym or sports bras and black short tights.
The Nigerian Navy reiterated that strict compliance with all instructions is mandatory and urged candidates to adhere to the guidelines to avoid disqualification from the training exercise.
