Stealthphone-3 debuts at GITEX 2014

The Mobile Trust Telecommunications (MTT) company has announced the debut of its first-ever super information security system known as ‘Stealthphone-3’ at the GITEX 2014, ITRealms reports.

According to the Manager, Marketing at MTT, Georgy Apreyatkin, Stealthphone-3 is an encryption system which guarantees the security of information transmitted over mobile phones, computers, satellite telephones, electronic mail, Skype, Viber, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.

ITRealms also gathered from Apreyatkin that all communication and information goes through mobile telephones, computers, tablets and satellite phones, hence all operating systems and security levels have the same problem.

“In 90 per cent of all security breaches information was protected by software means and could be easily hacked,” he said.

Therefore, its crucial to protect information, noting that modern mobile phones, computers, emails, social networks and data transmission programmes against hackers have been incorporated into the Stealthphone-3.

“Stealthphone-3 guarantees the security of voice and text messages sent over Stealthphone-3 Internet Protocol (IP) telephony system, compatible with any mobile operating system (OS) namely IOS, Android, Windows, Blackberry to name a few.

The main features of Stealthphone-3, he told ITRealms is the information security system which allows the users to generate encryption keys because Stealthphone-3 has been designed to the TEMPEST standard.

ITRealms recalls that TEMPEST standard covers both methods to spy upon others and also how to shield equipment against such spying. The protection efforts are also known as emission security (EMSEC), which is a subset of communications security (COMSEC), according to Wikipedia.

He, however, quoted the Director-General of MTT and leading security expert, Anatoly Klepov as saying at the presentation of Stealthphone-3 that the system represents the best achievements in the field of information security and comprises know-how in the field of cryptography and telecommunications.

“The defense of information against hackers and cyber-terrorists is the cornerstone to preserve traditional political, financial, economic, religious, cultural and family values of the modern civilization,” Klepov said.
