Arsenal Clinic Excites Nigeria’s Airtel Rising Stars


Nigeria’s contingent to the Arsenal Football Clinic in Accra, Ghana have described the seven-day intensive soccer coaching camp as exciting and a great platform that will enable them improve on their football skills, soccer knowledge and general personality and career development.

Speaking at the clinic yesterday Nigeria’s Goal Keeper, Gift Nevo said the clinic is an eye-opener that has not just improved her abilities as a soccer player but has also deepened her understanding of football matters, also helping her to adopt a more-focused approach to the game.

“It is amazing that I have already learnt so much on the first day of a training that will last for seven days. The atmosphere is electrifying, the facility is great and the coaches from Arsenal have demonstrated immense understanding of the game.

“I am glad to be part of this clinic and I thank Airtel and Arsenal for putting this initiative together. When I go back to my Club, Adex Queen in Nigeria, I’ll teach my team mates some of the techniques I have been learning from this clinic.
 
Echoing similar sentiments, Real Dynamo of Lagos Striker, Ahweda Rafiat Titilayo said the clinic has changed her orientation about football.
