CWG made Top-50 Technology Companies in W/Africa


A continental-leading Information and Communications Technology (ICT) company, the Computer Warehouse Group (CWG) has been listed among top Technology Companies in West Africa.
 
This was disclosed to ITRealms Online at the 5th ITEdge Convergence forum held in Lagos recently.

According to the editor of ITEdge, Mr. Segun Oruame, the ranking, an annual computation of the IT Edge Intelligence Unit (IT-IU) for Top 50 Companies which is accompanied with critical research findings forming part of the survey content.

He also said that CWG was recognised in the 2012 ranking, following her far-reaching influence and market place importance within the West Africa sub-Region.

Receiving the award on behalf of CWG, General Manager, DCC Networks, the Communications arm of CWG, Mr. Oladipo Raji, said the award was in recognition of the important role CWG is playing in the Information Technology market in providing real time solutions for business continuity and profitability.

“CWG is grateful to the organisers of the event for the recognition and we are giving you our words that we will never rest on our oars because the impact CWG is making is real,” he said.

As a big IT brand in Nigeria and West Africa, he said, CWG has been able to deliver total IT Solutions to clients cum customers across the West-African sub-Region, hence adding value to customer’s operation, meeting and exceeding customer’s expectations.

CWG, Mr. Raji noted, is an IT Solution company that is operational in Nigeria, Ghana and Uganda, stressing that it comprises three divisions, namely Computer Warehouse Limited, which is the hardware arm; ExpertEdge Limited, which is the Software arm and DCC Satellite; the Communications arm. 
 
He explained that each of the subsidiaries has expertise in one of the three IT disciplines, which includes IT training and certification centre.
