DCC Networks is EION’s best African system integrator

Canadian-based privately owned wireless entity, EION Incorporated has named the communications subsidiary of the Computer Warehouse Group (CWG), DCC Networks, as

“African Best System Integration Partner of the Year, 2010.”

Confirming this, the head, marketing communications, Mr. Chidi Okpala, said this came in recognition of DCC’S strength in support, services, specialization, personnel and customer satisfaction.

EION Inc with headquarters out of Ottawa, Ontario, has been a long standing partner to CWG in the provision of the broadest line of Internet Protocol (IP) solutions for data and voice over satellite, wired and wireless networks.

EIONS’s products and solutions are provided, supported and managed across CWG’s regional offices in Nigeria, Ghana and Uganda.

With this development, DCC Networks and CWG Limited as a group is the leading provider of EION’s products and solutions in Nigeria and indeed across Africa.

“These products and solutions are the underpinnings of flagship products from industry leaders that drive the internet,” he said.

The award presented by EION’s Vice President for Channels and Business development to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of CWG, Mr. Phillip Obioha, in Lagos.

Speaking after receiving the award, Mr. Obioha was appreciative of the feat accorded DCC Networks. “We’re great to be conferred with this award. It represents a true reflection of CWG’s commitment to provide innovative and cost effective wireless products to the market,” he said.

DCC, he reiterated, has continued to excel in its wireless networking capability and this award further confirmed CWG’s growing leadership status in the provision of wireless services to its growing customers.

He pointed out that DCC Networks, the Communications division of Computer Warehouse Group, is one of the largest providers of wireless and fixed communications infrastructure to corporate organisations across Africa.

“This award on DCC Networks further justifies the group’s commitment to quality and service excellence while addressing real needs in the market place,” he said.

In his comment, Vice President, Channels and Business Development EION wireless, Mr. Guido Curridor, said that EION is delighted to bestow the award to CWG for the edge it has over all other competitors.
