Aluko emerges Business Connexion’s MD

Business Connexion (BCX), a black empowered integrator of innovative business solutions based on Information and Communications Technology (ICT) has reaffirmed its commitment to make Nigeria the hub of its businesses in the sub-region.

This follows the recent appointment of Mr. Bukola Aluko as the chief executive officer of its Nigerian office.

Verifying this at a press conference in Lagos, Monday, Mr. Aluko noted that Business Connexion is a leading ICT solutions provider on the continent.

“We have been in Nigeria for over two years. But we are interested in growing our West African operations and making Nigeria our hub,” he said.

Aluko also said that Business Connexion is keen in making investment in skills and technology in Nigeria to offer the customers cost effective solutions in the West Africa sub-region.

The firm, he said runs mission-critical ICT systems and manage products, services and solutions for most of the listed and key public sectors in Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE).

A replica of this mission, he said, the Nigerian office intends to achieve by engaging organisations, parastatals and medium-sized companies.

Based on the firm’s business model, Aluko said that this represents an approach to configure and integrate business solutions.

“Our solutions are designed to meet our clients’ strategic and operational needs, which we develop and maintain,” Aluko said.

He pointed out that the integrated service of the company, affords Business Connexion offices to support a network of business and deliver units across entire value chain.

He listed some of the value chain to include developing Information Technology (IT) strategies aligned with business policies, establish IT governance frameworks, analyse application needs, and define possible solutions.

Additionally, Aluko said that Business Connexion’s value chain covers conducting of feasibility studies of potential solutions and developing business cases to name a few.

To deliver on its mission, he said that Business Connexion has grown to become a world-class service through the development of strong relationships and attainment of top-level certification with many of the world’s leading ICT suppliers.

Aluko until recently was the chief executive officer, Red Ark Group, an entertainment organisation based in Lagos, where he spent about 20 months on the beat.

RedArk is reputed as a strong player in the entertainment industry, taking the lead in creative content development and core deployment for customers, with core subsidiary being Red X Event Managers., which tends to take concept to reality.

Before then, Mr. Aluko was a General Manager at the Computer Warehouse Group (CWGroup) where he played active and key role in bringing the Computer Warehouse Limited (CWL), the hardware subsidiary, to be the most profitable arm of CWGroup.

Aside paid employment, he is into full Audio Visual Production; A Song Writer, singer and music arranger, musical video director with specialties in customer relationship and large account management experience.

Aluko has since resumed work at Business Connexion.
