Celtel Nigeria appoints two new chief officers

Celtel Nigeria has appointed Messrs Tayo Bright and Norman Moyo as Chief Sales Officer and Chief Marketing Officer, respectively.

Their appointment, according to the Public Relations Manager, Celtel Nigeria, Mr. Emmanuel Otokhine, in a press statement, invariably makes them members of the company’s Executive Committee.

He also said that prior to his appointment Mr. Bright was the Director of Commercial Operations, while Mr. Moyo has been marketing director both at Celtel Nigeria respectively.

Otokhine explained that Mr. Bright’s new role as Chief Sales Officer, entails being responsible for all route-to-market strategies and the execution of these through the Celtel regional business structure across Nigeria.

An alumnus of the University of Ibadan, Mr. Bright joined Celtel Nigeria in 2003, and is known for his crucial role in successfully overseeing the development and deployment of company-owned consumer touch point (shops) across Nigeria; delivering sales and high quality services.

While in his new role as Chief Marketing Officer, Moyo would be responsible for the strategic management and growth of the segments and the delivery of the desired customer experience based on sound customer insights.

Since joining Celtel Nigeria, Moyo has distinguished himself as an aggressive marketer. He successfully led the team charged with re-branding of Vmobile to Celtel Nigeria, an exercise that was critically acclaimed as exceptional.
