Luck smiles on Odiaka @ Quiz Line

LUCK smiled on Mr. Eze Odiaka Pascal, at the weekend, as he was presented with a cheque of N755,000, even as he emerged the highest winner on the Television contest, which has recorded 964 winners lately.

Mr. Pascal, a footballer with Delta United Football Club of Warri was full of praises to the high heavens when contacted on his reaction over the prize.

Excited Pascal did not hide his ambition as he declared that he intends to travel abroad with the money to accelerate his football career.

“I am traveling with the money in order to promote my soccer carrier. I have played for Delta United Football Club of Warri and time has come for me to move ahead,” he said.

An indigene of Delta State indigene and OND holder in Library and Information Science, Mr. Pascal also informed that his parents were quite happy with the lucky break was announced and have since given their the blessing to do whatever he wishes with the prize as long that would make him happy with a better future.

He disclosed that he had always dreamt of playing professional soccer abroad and as first step, he had graduated from the Pepsi Academy but could not achieve his dream of playing professional football due to lack of fund to support that move.

According to him, he did his documentations by getting his travel papers ready, but could not make it, leaving his hope with providence.

In what looked like a prayer answered, a fortnight ago, he participated in the TV Quiz Line on NTA and luck was on his side.

As explained by the General Manager of GetTV, producers and promoters of Quiz Line, Mr. Pascal was lucky that the computer selected him to proceed to the next line of action.

Hence, he played and got a bonus play and suddenly, hit the N755, 000 mark.

This, he said is another testimony of a programme which globally is designed for small wins has catapulted a young man to the realms of his dreams.

Mr. Akinlabi also explained that what has continued to give his entire team joy is the fact that most of the winners really find the money very handy as they invest in something that could change their lives on the long run.

It would be recalled that recently, another winner of a lump sum, Ms Elmina from Gombe had said she would use the money to change her life by engaging in trading.
