HIREST signs up corporate affairs director

MUltimedia services company, Hirest Limited, has appointed Mrs. Ufuoma Emuophedaro as its Corporate Affairs Director.

The appointment is part of a strategic move intended to propel the company to provide better services to its customers, in keeping with the challenges of the industry.

The company said the move is also intended to help the company maintain its role and its desire to continuously seek ways to improving business relationship and provision of service to its customers.

Prior to her appointment, Mrs. Emuophedaro, worked as the Corporate Affairs Manager at Linkserve Limited, where she brought the company to limelight within a very short period of time.

A seasoned journalist, ‘Daro had worked as the Head of the Information and Communications Technology Desk of The Punch Newspapers before joining Linkserve.

She joined The Punch in 2000 as a Money Market correspondent, after which she was transferred to run the Property column of the paper, and later deployed to head the ICT unit.

A widely traveled journalist, Mrs. Emuophedaro has attended several international press conferences and exhibitions in the field of Information and Communications Technology, within and outside the African continent.

With her vast experience in the ICT industry, Mrs. Emuophedaro will manage Hirest’s image with customers, government agencies and the entire public, as well as the company’s marketing penetration.

Mrs. Emuophedaro graduated from the former Bendel State University, Ekpoma (now Ambrose Alli University) in 1989 with a B.Sc. degree in Economics, second-class upper division. She also has a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Lagos.

She has undergone series of certifications and trainings in business reporting and financial analysis from the Lagos Business School and ESUT Business School.

With her wealth of experience, Emuophedaro plans to take Hirest to the next level.
