Brian unveils dual processor PCs

Brian Integrated Systems Limited, hardware subsidiary of Balog Technologies Limited (BALOGTEK), has unveiled series of Personal Computers (PCs) that would run on dual-core Intel Pentium processors.

Announcing this at the Computer, Telecommunications and Office Equipment (CTO-06) at the Musical Society of Nigeria (MUSON) Center, Onikan-Lagos, which ended weekend, Head, Marketing at Brian Integrated Systems, Mr. Sam Adeyemi, said the latest in stock delivers outstanding multi-tasking responsiveness and media experiences for high volume 2006 platforms.

He also said that the dual processors, otherwise known as ‘D processors’ avails extra performance when deployed.

“Accomplish more while running multiple applications, such as editing video while downloading music,” he declared.

On why they chose CTO for unveiling of the product, Mr. Adeyemi said that given the populous nature of the ICT fair, organized by the commercial section of the American Embassy.

“We also showcased the dual-core Intel Pentium D processors at the this year’s CTO so that as many Information Technology (IT) technocrats and visiting public could see, touch and experience the latest technology in the country,” he asserted.

Also commenting, Managing Director of Brain, Mr. Tunji Balogun, recalled that when the Intel pinless LGA 775 Processor on hyper threading and Prescot mother boards were to be launched in the nation’s IT market, “Only Brian brand of computers could provide the platform for this to happen.”

Stressing that Brian as a brand has to stand out among equals.

“BRIAN is an acronym for Bringing Reliable Information Access to Nigeria, and that is what we want to be known for. We will always be on the vanguard of breaking technologies and bringing such advances to the Nigerian market.”

According to Mr. Balogun, who also is the President, Computers and Allied Products Dealers Association of Nigeria (CAPDAN), the firm operates a system that allows transition easily into new technological advances, even as they are focusing on laying prime emphasis on being the foremost in technology advances.

“We pride ourselves in this,” he declared.
